kai·ros

/ˈkīräs/    Origin – GREEK

The word kairos was an ancient Greek word meaning “opportunity,” “season,” or “fitting time.” An opportunity or a suitable time for an action to take place. When we “seize the day,” we are taking advantage of the kairos given to us.

A wedding ceremony taking place outdoors on a tiled terrace with a mountain and trees in the background. The bride and groom are standing in front of a cross, exchanging vows. Bridesmaids in matching dresses and groomsmen in white shirts and ties are lined up on either side of the couple. Guests are seated watching the ceremony.
